What we collect
When you contact us through a form on this website, or by phone, text or email, we collect the details you choose to give us. That is usually your name, phone number, email address, suburb or site address, and a description of the work you need. The CCTV builder and quote forms also record the options you selected.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, book and carry out the work, invoice it and look after any warranty or follow-up. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists.
Who we share it with
Only where it is needed to do the job or where the law requires it. Our website host and email provider store the messages you send us. If you ask us to arrange a service from a third party, such as alarm monitoring, we pass on the details that provider needs.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, for example which pages are viewed. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser. It does not give us your name or contact details. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com, and opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Storage and security
Enquiries are stored on our web server and in our business email, and job records in our business systems. We take reasonable steps to protect them from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep them only as long as we need them for the job, warranty, tax and legal purposes.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us at info@dextel.com.au or on 0414 464 675. CCTV you install
This policy covers information we collect about you. If we install cameras for you, you are responsible for how that system records others; see clause 29.4 of our terms.
