Burglary in WA has been falling, and that's good news. But Perth metro still recorded 5,312 home burglaries in 2025-26, and when WA researchers asked active burglars what put them off, a working alarm was near the top of the list, while fake cameras and dummy alarm boxes didn't work at all.

Alarms and Cameras: One Call, One Quote
Most electricians cannot legally touch security, and most security firms cannot legally touch electrical. We hold both tickets, so the alarm, the cameras and the wiring behind them are all the same job.
Encrypted 868MHz radio that picks up jamming attempts as they happen. It's a proper alarm, not a Wi-Fi camera with a siren bolted on.

Alarm and CCTV on One Job

Armadale: a new Ajax Hub 2 Plus alarm with motion detectors, sirens, a keyfob and a panic button for an elderly client, plus four Dahua cameras covering almost the whole perimeter.
Security System Pricing, Not “Call for a Quote”
We publish package pricing where the system is a fixed set of parts, and quote the rest, where the job really does vary. You will know which is which before you call.
Three starting systems (apartment, home essentials and home protection) are published with their full parts list, so you can see what each one includes before you ring.
Extra detectors (including outdoor, photo-verification and heat/smoke), sirens, keypads and key fobs have published supplied-and-installed prices too, as does the Wi-Fi Hub 2 Plus upgrade. Other Ajax devices, commercial sites, wired Fibra systems and upgrades of existing alarms are quoted. See the Ajax packages and device prices →
Four, six and eight-camera packages with the recorder, a 4TB drive and installation included: HiLook from $1,800, Dahua from $2,000. These are from prices for a standard single-storey Perth home, confirmed in a written quote, after a free site visit where possible. Commercial sites, double-storey homes, steel-framed roofs and hard-access jobs are always quoted.

Deposits: most service work needs nothing up front. Jobs under $1,000 carry no deposit at all, and that covers most service calls. Quoted work above that takes a 20% deposit on acceptance, as set out in our terms →

Rebates You May Be Able to Claim
Under the SBDC’s Small Business Resilience Program CCTV Rebate, the WA Government will refund 50% of a new internal CCTV system, excluding GST, up to $2,000, for eligible retail and customer-facing businesses with fewer than 20 employees. Applications opened on Monday 19 October 2026 and close when the funding runs out. You need pre-approval before the install, and funding is first come, first served. WA Seniors Card holders can claim up to $400 back on CCTV, alarms, and smoke alarm installations through the state Safety and Security Rebate. The $400 is a total per household rather than per item, so combining your CCTV and electrical work in one visit lets the one rebate go further. It runs all year. Some councils offer their own security rebates too, on a yearly budget that closes once it is spent, so check your own council’s page before you buy.

Electrical and security in the same visit, under EC12377 and SA54405. I’m also a licensed electrician, so ask about any electrical work.

Premium without the premium price
We install premium systems like Ajax at competitive rates because it’s a small owner-operated business, not a franchise with overheads to cover. You get the quality without paying for someone else’s marketing budget.
I had originally booked Dejan about 4 years ago to install a new alarm system. Dejan was professional, clean, prompt and knowledgeable. He even went as far as helping me find out how to find the password to our security cameras as we had just bought the property and was not given this detail. Since then, I have also had him install an updated security system of which his patience was invaluable as technology savvy, I am not. I have since recommended him to my mum as his work and ethics are unsurpassable and I know she will have the same excellent experience I have had.
Common questions
Yes, most jobs combine both. Tell us what you're after when you book and we'll quote the full job in one visit.
A typical 4-camera CCTV system takes 6 to 8 hours. An Ajax alarm install usually takes about half a day, depending on property size and sensor count.
No. Dahua systems record locally to the NVR. Monitoring is optional, and the alarm works without it. If you want it, I connect the alarm to the monitoring company of your choice, and you deal with them directly.
Ajax's Jeweller protocol detects jamming and spoofing attempts and alerts you straight away. No radio can promise it can't be jammed; the point is that you know when someone tries.
We work from our base in Spearwood across Perth metro. Call to check your suburb.
Yes for hardware. The software side, changing settings or adding a device, needs the installer credentials for that system, so ask whoever installed it to leave them with you. Either way the existing gear stays outside my warranty, as it would on any job.
Any house can be done. What changes is the approach, so awkward blocks and anything needing a lift get a site visit before a price rather than a package rate.
